Trying again

Exactly four weeks ago it was New Years Eve although it already feels in the dim and distant past. I went along to a short watch night service at church to wave goodbye to 2015 usher in 2016 with my list of life changes I’m going to make.  Lose weight, get fit, de clutter, be more organised blah blah blah. I’m of an age where I’m well practised at this because I’ve been doing it for years.  I tick all the boxes for new year new you clichés, but one thing I’m sure of is this.  If I stop trying, I’ve given up. The perfect sentence to be moshed up and made into a motivational quote that gets shared on Facebook with a life span of less than 24 hours. So I’m trying again, at 46 and I’ll keep on going until I get there. One thing I vowed to do in 2016 was write more and finally get my much requested blog up and running. I hope to keep you all amused with my life musings as I share my life as an almost middle aged woman. I’m not over the hill yet but my kids think I’ve reached the top. The view is from my bedroom window taken one early morning in summer last year. What’s not to love?
