Now bear with me. I know this video clip sounds like I’m in a wind tunnel and should emerge looking like I’ve had a highly priced face lift. But it wasn’t as bad as it sounded. It can be; in fact it can be a lot worse, but on this occasion it was just misleading because we are high up and I don’t have one of those furry microphone things.
Anyway the point I want to make is this. Yesterday it was thick mist, and heavy rain. We couldn’t see further than a few feet ahead of us. Today however, Orkney caught up with the rest of the UK heatwave. A little late to the party but most welcome when it finally arrived.
